Rust Proof Paint is an Oak Ridge Foam & Coating Systems site. Oak Ridge manufactures and distributes industrial polyurea — OR93BL, the Flak Jacket line, 7001 primer, and related products. We do not make paint.
We built this site because a lot of people searching for rust proof paint are actually describing a problem paint will not solve, and a lot of others are describing one where paint is completely adequate. Both groups deserve a straight answer, and neither gets one from a page whose only job is to sell drums.
So the comparison here is written to be defensible. Where paint wins — brushability, colour retention, small-job economics, touch-up — we say so plainly. Where the membrane wins, we give you the numbers rather than adjectives.
If after all that polyurea is the right answer for your job, we sell it, ship it nationwide, and can refer an applicator if you do not spray it yourself.
